Our puppies are not just cute puppies. They are backed up with excellent pedigrees, health clearances through OFA, CERF, and DNA. We temperament test our puppies to make the best match possible with the new families.
Usually all the puppies are sold by the time they are 7-8 weeks old. We encourage interested people to contact us ahead of time and get set in the waiting list.
All pet puppies are sold with limited registration. No exceptions!
Puppies can be reserved before they are born with a deposit of $300. First reservations get to pick first available and so on. Deposits are refundable until the puppies are born. Please inquire about the total fee of the puppies.
Being in our Waiting list will not warrant a puppy. We are in God's hands and we may not get enough puppies to please all our inquiries and reservations.
I do not sell to non reputable breeders, pet shops, dealers, or brokers.
I do not ship puppies. If you insist on one of our babies, you'll have to come to pick it up. No exceptions!
We reserve the right to keep as many puppies as we feel will perpetuate and benefit our breeding program. We usually keep 1-2 puppies from each litter, sometimes more.
You can place your deposit through:
2.- Check. E-mail for address.
3.- Pay Pal. (Click on the Pay Pal link):
I prefer cash or check, but feel free to use Pay Pal ( add 5%. $15 for your $300 deposit) if you want to use your credit card.
Please do not place a deposit before you have been approved after filling up the application.
Visits are welcome by appointment. However, do not come the same day you have visited other kennels, pet stores, vet clinics, or shelters; or with the same shoes you have been in a dog place in the last month. Young puppies are very susceptible to diseases and visitors are usually the way virus and bacteria find their way to new victims. I you forget and still come, I can always give you booties, so just let me know!
All our puppies come with:
Parent's Hips, Elbows and Eyes clearances. We also test for Heart, Patella and DNA test for the pertinent Labrador inherited diseases.
Mother and father's 5-generation pedigree.
Shots and de-wormed up to date.
1 year written warranty.
Properly socialized and temperament evaluated. We like to match the right puppy with the right family. Expect guidance when you are choosing your puppy.
Over 30 years of experience available to help or answer any question that may come even years after the puppy has been adopted.
Our written Warranty:
Any of our pet puppies would have 3 days warranty from the date of sale for contagious diseases and 1 year warranty from the date of birth for any congenital diseases including hips, elbows, heart and eyes. Show puppies will have an extended warranty.
Unexpected events happen in life. If you can't keep your puppy for whatever reason in the future, he or she will always have a home at van Dalen. It has always been my personal commitment that none of the puppies that I bring to this world would ever end up abandoned or in a shelter. If you can't keep it and you do not have a close family member or friend to adopt it from you, I want it back.
We love our puppies a great deal. We welcome pictures and updates and encourage new owners to do so.
Beware of breeders that sell champagne, silver, or charcoal Labradors. These colors are the dilute version of the only 3 AKC accepted colors: black, yellow, and Chocolate. The heavy inbreeding done by these breeders commonly produces genetically weak Labrador prone to skin disorders, common infections, and undesirable temperaments. Most of these puppies are destined to a painful, sad, and short life. Veterinarian bills of thousand of dollars are not enough to undo what the greed and lack of knowledge have produced.
Shame on breeders that destroy this beautiful breed for the love of money.
