Testimonials 2012

Our Labrador puppies in their new homes.

It is with great proud that we post these testimonials from people that have acquired a van Dalen puppy or dog in the past. All these dogs went from our home to their now forever homes to form part of all these splendid families. This is one of the main reasons that make us get better every day.

Thanks to you guys for taking such good care of our babies!

Laura

Hi Laura,

Hope this email finds you well.

Mushi is now 4 month old and he is doing very well. I think Ana has sent through some pictures but Mushi is absolutely enormous at almost 30lbs!

Mushi is going to puppy training and he is also doing very well there. Knows the sit, down and come commands very well and his walking is also very good so far.

Many thanks,

Jeffrey

"Jack"

Tiffany & Frasier

Hi Laura,
Jack enjoyed his first boat ride! We are enjoying him so much! I'm amazed at how fast he is growing-he is already 30 pounds! Maybe he will out weigh Junior some day :-) Take care and we all send big "hellos", especially Jack.

They love him!!!!!

"Gryffin"
Abby & Gandalf

Gryffin is just so amazing – his temperament is so calm and loving and fun – he is so handsome and beautiful – one of the pictures shows his eyes to be just like Abby’s eyes – so sweet – and he is a big boy like his dad Gandalf but just as handsome – some of the pics show him with his outside ball in the yard that he loves – one shows him at top of basement stairs where he stays when we go hang wash he throws his ball from there and wants us to throw it back up the stairs to him – there’s a couple of him sleeping – soooo sweet when he is so tired his eyes are closed so tightly – then there is the one of him when we first brought him home lying on Russ’ boot and then him now on same boot! – too funny –

I look forward to hearing back from you either by email or text on my cell or phone when you have time to talk – I hope all goes well with your upcoming births! – hope all are healthy and beautiful –

Have a great day miss Laura! – so great to be in touch with you again!

Smiles and hugs,
Tara

 "Sundance"

Tiffany & Junior

Hi Dr. Laura,

Bobby and I thought you might enjoy seeing our young Sundance making water retrieves at his "training school" in Union Point, GA. We are very pleased with the trainer, who is a gentle, easy going guy with a very good reputation.

Sundance is being trained as a hunting retriever so hopefully he can accompany Bobby on some bird hunts in the future!

But we miss him, and hope to have him back home with us in another month or so. He has been with the trainer for three months, with us making parental visits, of course!

Regards, Terry

Hi Laura – I just thought I would send you a quick update on Skapo (Tiffany x Tyler). He is still doing wonderful. He is my son’s best friend. Anywhere one goes, the other is sure to be there. He has been such a wonderful addition to our family!

"Mushi"
Tiffany & Frasier

Laura,

Hope you are well.

Just to send a photo to show you our puppy "Mushi".

He is doing great and eating well. We are trying hard to potty train him.

At night we wake him up at 3am for him to eliminate and play usually until 4am before he goes back to his crate.

So hopefully he will be fully potty trained soon.

I have registered the microchip and with the association so we are all set on that front.

Many thanks,

Jeffrey

"Caymus"
Maggie & Junior

Laura, I thought you would be interested in Shafer's recent trip to Ridgeview Charter School as a Therapy dog.

She visited a class of kids with learning disabilities and had a great time. Will send you a few more pics too. Caymus is doing well also and enjoys being with her sis. She loves harassing her half sister constantly. We love both of them very much!

Hope all is well.

"Cooper"
Chloe & Frasier

Hi Laura,

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas! We enjoyed your card with the lab-reindeer.

Here is Cooper taking a nap. He's showing his new neutered status! He had his surgery on Dec 13 and did very well.

We are enjoying Cooper very much. The trainer said he has the best personality of any dog she's working with -- he is a character!

I will keep you posted on his training. He's having his "test" in a couple of weeks to see if he passes. Really the test is for us because I think Cooper knows exactly what he's doing!

All the best,

Nancy Seay

"Duke"
Happy & Junior

Hi Laura, Happy New Year to you, just wanted to give you a update on Duke. He is doing real good, he is around 90lbs. now and not a year old. I get so many compliments on him when I take him out with me, and for walks. I have a lot of people ask me about him and where I got him, and they just can't get over what a good looking Lab he is. He is spoiled rotten though, expects to get what he want's even though he don't (always), expects to go on walks in the morning, no matter what temp. is, the colder, the better for him. I can walk him three to five miles in the morning at Lake Lanier Island's, (plus fetching and swimming), make the short ride home in the truck (less than 2 miles), get home and he is ready to go again, lots of energy. He is like a human, sleeps hard at night, and gets up at the crack of dawn and stays up all day. He is a wonderful Lab, I love him very much. I just wanted to let you know how he his was doing, and wish a Happy New Year. I will continue to give you updates on him, hope you have a Blessed year, I will stay in touch

Happy New Year!

His name is Louie. He has received many compliments on what a handsome dog he is and the vet said he is a "perfect specimen" of labrador. Once we get settled, I'll have him send you a message and some photos for the website.

Thanks again,
