Hi Laura!
Hope you're doing ok. Brutus is growing so fast! I'm not very good
at getting photos of him, but I am attaching some so you can see
what he looks like. He's a little over 3 months old now. He gets
cuter and cuter every day! His eyes are a little lighter brown than
Buckeye's - they are really beautiful - I'm not sure if they will
get darker as he ages or not, but I sure hope they don't.

Hello Laura
How are you? I hope all is great down in Georgia! - Your website
shows you have been very busy lately with beautiful puppies! - Hope
all the pups and adult dogs are all doing great!
Wanted to send you a note to let you know Gryffin is doing so well!
- He is truly a beautiful dog inside and out - Sorry it has taken so
long to get back in touch with you - Russ and I have been busy with
puppy socialization classes, obedience classes and buying a house.
Gryffin has already picked out under the little tree in the back as
his new favorite spot - where we live now it is all hard wood floors
but the new house has carpeting - you should see him enjoy the
carpeting - holy cow! he does laps around the house since it is
still pretty empty.
We wanted to shard some pictures with you to show you how beautiful
he is - we always brag about you and anyone that is looking for a
dog we give them your name and tell them you have the most beautiful
dogs and take the best care of them - Gryffin's recent visit to the
vet was to get weighed before he got his current heart worm pill -
he weighed in at 47.5 - they said he is really good shape - not
overweight - getting a long body - in puppy socialization class they
can't believe how good he is with the small dogs like the mini dachshund
and the little puggle - he's a sweetie - I hope you enjoy the
pictures - I have to send them in two emails to make sure they go
through - will send more as soon as I load them onto the computer.
Tell Gandalf we said Happy Father's Day - ha-ha -

Hi Laura!
I hope the summer is treating you well. We went to
the lake for Memorial Day and as you can see from the pictures
Wilson is a regular old water crazy dog. He had a blast swimming
and jumping of the dock. I have not sent and good water pictures so
I thought you would enjoy these. We just moved out to Jasper onto 7
acres so Wilson thinks he has died and gone to heaven. With
chickens and turkeys to chase and all the grass he can eat, he is a
very happy boy.

Hi Laura!
The puppy is doing great! He and Buckeye LOVE each other so much!
All they do is either wrestle or sleep (or eat, of course) - it's so
funny to watch them. I took him to the vet today, and he's up to 20
pounds (he's 10 weeks old).

Hi Laura,
Just wanted to give you an update on Jesse (Blue Boy). He is
everything you said and more. He is incredibly smart. Already
knows how to sit, lay down, and walk on a leash. Definitely thinks
he should get his own way. (We're working on that.) He has been
with me to the barn once. Knows no fear and walks right up to the
horses!
Have attached a couple of pics. The one where he is asleep was
taken the night I brought him home. Soooo tired after his long
trip. The other one was taken today at nine weeks. He thinks he's
such a big dog now! Can't thank you enough for such a lovely
puppy. Will stay in touch.

Yes
Jazmine has earned titles, in her first competition she became a
Junior Splash Dog, and has now earned her Senior Title. She loves
jumping so much and is so proud of herself. We are having such a
great time, with the other dogs and handlers, I would recommend
every Lab owner to check for local clubs. It has made Jazmine such
a well behaved and HAPPY puppy. Will keep you posted on other
competitions.

Hey Laura
See you have your hands full with all the new
puppies! We wanted to send you a quick Rowdy update. Other then
the vet telling us he is fat, Rowdy is doing very well. He is
totally out of the kennel now and is behaving (knock on wood). He
is a great dog- thank you!! So on a side note, we are thinking
about getting another dog, not right away but at some point in the
future. And because we have had such a great experience with your
kennel we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. We will be looking
for a black lab, female preferable. What would that
cost-estimated...

Hi Laura -
Finally getting two
minutes to send you a note with some pics taken from my phone. I
have to get the last few days worth or pictures developed and
will send more.
Russ and I want to thank you so very much for Gryffin a/k/a
Purple Boy - he is beautiful! and oh so cute - what a
personality! and has been so great about going to the bathroom
outside. Last night was a little rough, he was up every hour.
That is our fault though because we had to be out for awhile
yesterday afternoon and we brought him with us.
|
He basically slept a lot in my truck while with us so he was
not tired at all last night.
Our goal now will be to tire
him out every day since we have been up since about 4:00am this
morning when I took him out - Russ took him out at 6:00 since he
was crying but all he wanted to do was play with his boots - he
met the geese out in the field today - just sat and watched them
for awhile.
Russ and I agree that you
took wonderful care of the puppies and do take excellent care of
your adult dogs because they are all beautiful both in looks and
personalities!
I hope you like the
plaque that Russ made for you - you have been so kind and
helpful to us we wanted to give you something to say thank you -
Sorry if we stayed too long on Friday and bothered you with all
of the picture taking
I hope everyone did well

As you can see, Miss Baggins (aka Beans) , at 3 1/2 months, is
growing into quite a beautiful young lady. She's wonderfully
affectionate, eager to please, and is always fun. Every day we
take
her on a long walk in the woods; she loves exploring but always
stays
close. Her favorite thing is playing in our streams even though the
water is REALLY cold! As far as we're concerned, she's perfect!

Hi Laura:
Just a short update on Gus (09/30/06). He is reaching full size
and is just shy of 80 lbs. He is such a pleasure and loves to
cuddle on the sofa with us. I wish I could get some pictures of
him jumping into the pool but the digital camera has that
irritating delay. He would probably be a great dock dog jumper
but the closest one to us is over a 3 hour ride away. He gets
some good air. I have added crawling and a couple of others to
his bag of tricks. I still can’t figure out how to teach him to
roll over. Any advice would be appreciated as he learns very
quickly when you are clear with what you want. We went to a dog
event at our local park and were constantly stopped and
complemented. Thanks again for a wonderful dog,

Hi Laura,
I wanted you to know that Soli, who we soon after leaving renamed
Tag. He was the blue male from Abby & Gandalf last April. I think
he looks a lot like his father. We now live in Georgia and Tag has
about 25 acres to play on. He is my little companion. He runs with
me everyday. He has been very easy to train, and is one of the most
loving and affectionate dogs I've ever owned. He's happy as long as
he's w/ me. I will soon be starting to train him for duck hunting.
Even though he is the English Show (which is what I wanted:), he
loves to retrieve and play in the water. I'll update you with more
later and more pictures of him when he reaches a year. He's
up-to-date with his shots & is weighing in at between 85-90lbs
currently.

Hi Laura,
Mia is beautiful, very kind and playful. She drops to the
floor, belly up, and “demands” that we caress her!! Ha ha. We
are in love with her, and she is an angel to the kids. She’s
also getting big. At here last vet visit 2weeks ago, she

Hi Laura!
I hope all is well with you and your dogs! Wilson is now one year
old and he has grown into a very big boy. He weighs about 80 lbs.
Recently I got engaged and my fiancé has two dogs so Wilson now has
two sisters a Pit Bull mix (Kate) and a German Sheppard (Sadie).
The three get along great and they love to ride around together. My
fiancé and I work in construction so the dogs spend most of the days
on construction sites running around in the mud or riding in the
truck. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Dear Laura,
We have finally gotten around to show you pictures of our Lucas. We
are so happy to have him. We think he is happy with us as well. All
of our friends and neighbors think he is the most beautiful lab they
have ever seen. Of course, objectively speaking, we do too. He loves
to go on car rides to Starbucks. We sit outside and he gets so much
attention from all the customers. Even strangers at the coffee shop
ask us about him when we stop there on our way to work. Our
Starbucks has adopted him as their Mascot.
We cannot believe how much he has grown already. On Monday, he goes
to our Vet for his last series of shots. He weighed 28 lbs on his
last visit and I am sure he is over 30lbs. by now. Our Vet told us
that his weight is perfect for his age and to keep doing what we are
doing. By the way, our Vet told us how fortunate we were to have
found such a good breeder as yourself. Even the Vet said that he has
not seen a puppy of this stock in a long time.
He is so smart and he does all sorts of tricks. He sometimes gets
stubborn though and does not always "come" when we want him to. Yet,
what child ever does? We want to thank you again. You have made us
very happy; Lucas has filled that void in our lives.
We have also been referring many people to your website. Every time
we go to Petsmart, people always are stuck by how beautiful he is.
Therefore, we sing your praises and give them your information. I am
sure you will be getting inquiries if that has not already happened.

you that Thunder and Scarlet are doing great! Thunder has been
wonderful to Scarlet and really enjoys his new playmate. Scarlet
keeps up with him well, has trained quickly and I often find
them sleeping snuggled against each other. We are very pleased

a couple of pictures of Dreamer. He is absolutely gorgeous and
getting better and better every single day. His coat is
amazing, he has a super nice head and well.... words fail me,

look, he is so sweet and loving with us. Don't get me wrong -
he will chase a ball for hours non stop, but when it comes time
to sit down for some loving, he's the first in line.

Hi Laura,
Just wanted to send you
this picture of Cotton (orange girl) and Ruby (lilac girl) from
Onyx and Gandalf's litter. This picture was taken last week
(when they were about 8 weeks old). Our good friends Charley
and Morgan brought Ruby home and Cotton is our girl. They are
such wonderful dogs and love to play together. We try to
coordinate play dates every few days.
Cotton is such a sweet
dog and we love her so much already. You were right -- she is
not afraid of anything, including large dogs, cats, and vacuum
cleaners. She had her first vet appointment yesterday and the
vet was very impressed with her. She is already over 17
pounds! I'll be sure to send you more pictures as she gets
bigger.
